I’m staying in the Falkirk Travel lodge for a month whilst I work at Grangemouth , so tonight I thought I’d give Chianti Italian restaurant a try and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. The food was great and the 2 young women running front of house were very welcoming & doing a great job. Arancini was very fresh and authentic and you’ll see from the photos the beer and steak was also on point. I’d advise anyone local thinking about going , or anyone staying near by in one of hotels to get yourself booked in.
We are on holidays from Australia and we accidentally found this place . We loved our first visit so much that we made it our last meal in Scotland . All the team were amazing , the food both times fresh , presented really well and it felt traditional an authentic. We were very happy .
Wow, what an amazing culinary experience. The food, the service and the knowledge was exceptional. Such a lovely family business, nothing was too much trouble. It was my birthday meal and they all made it so special which was much appreciated. The meal was the best Italian meal I have ever had. We will definitely divert our annual journey to Scotland to stop here for a meal again, it was so perfect... thank you so much.
Oh my gosh. We went back to chianti for the first time in years. The guy who originally bought it and went away, is back. Amazing food. Amazing service. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!! Thanks for a lovely evening!! X
Had lunch here yesterday and it was fantastic. We hadn’t visited for several years as standards in food etc had slipped. Abi is back ,once again , and food quality has improved greatly. Waitresses were lovely and very efficient and friendly. Theresa especially was so nice. Best meal we’ve had for a long time. We’ll be back !!! X
After visiting The Kelpies we asked the guy at the gift shop for a good restaurant. So we came up here, got a table for four and a delicious pizza for everyone. It was a good place to celebrate this wonderful day.
Very pleasant lunch. Nice quiet atmosphere. Staff were great with our 4 month old too
We had a beautiful meal today. We booked and asked for a wheelchair friendly table with a high chair, everything was set up for us arriving. Very accessible and the staff were AMAZING, went above and beyond to make sure our meal was great. Played with our little boy, brought him lovely fresh bread and ice cream, made good conversation 10/10 service! Food was lovely, will be back in the near future!
